Super kings.. derivative word from Super star. Sunrisers their party sign. Kolkata knightriders random name still okay, Royal challengers bangalore whisky team. KinightRiders is another odd one - either call them Knights or Riders but who the hell rides a Knight! What does it even mean? SuperKings is also strange. Maybe call them Emperors or something but just like KnightRiders, SuperKings sounds weird. Also, Mumbai shouldn't have been allowed to use 'Indians'. Let them use something local like Chatrapatis or Ambanis etc. but calling the team Indians when all of the teams are Indians shouldn't have been allowed.

May RCB gets a pass as it got its name courtesy of Royal Challenge brand by Vijay Mallya who had association with Bengaluru. Gujrat Lions and Kochi Tuskers were actually decent names, which symbolises the region they belong to. But Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Supergiants, Kolkata knight riders, Chennai Superkings, Punjab Kings, Gujrat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad...they all are pretty boring. Sun TV actually is a Tamil brand and has no association with Hyderabad (WC to be corrected). Manucrick 1
