To be fair..apart from Boom and good form Arsh..no one is at highest level for me in T20s..even Harshit needs to tighten up his game..

I find Mohsin the best of the lot but his challenge is to remain fit. If he's fit, I would pick him to partner with Bumrah. And you don't need more than 2 specialist pacers as there'll be Pandya and/or Nitish, Shedge etc.

Tyagi’s role was as a strike bowler in KKR eclipsing Vaibhav Arora..whereas Rasikh Salam was just a 3rd/4th or even 5th fiddle after Bhuvi/Josh/Duffy and Krunal..in RCB..now imagine if he wud be able to handle first or 2nd seamer role for India..

I saw Rasikh bowl at the death as well and he was mentally tougher. Everytime I saw him he looked solid and didn't lose it when hit. Mentally a lot stronger than Tyagi.

He should be in the pool and whoever out of the pool - Prince, Sakib, Mohsin, Gurnoor, Ashok, Harshit, Rasikh - performs better gets ahead in the pecking order. But Tyagi doesn't make the list.

Lol,Tyagi is not your list,maybe

But no one puts Rasikh over him

You are judging a bowler' overall caliber based on t20s

Tyagi is redball,odi cricket material

You got to have attacking instincts to survive in other two formats

Don't think anyone is asking for Tyagi to be picked for Team India now.

And I want Tyagi and every other young Indian quick to play quite a few FC snd List A matches before India debut. This will prepare their bodies for the rigours of fast bowling and hone their skills.

BUT

Others outperforming you in domestic cricket can't be a constraint to selection. There were many better domestic performers than Bumrah, Shami, Kohli.

And this happens because Ranji Trophy structure and pitches ususlly reward lower intensity, lower effort participation as opposed to high intensity, high effort tussles needed in big test series and big ICC tournaments.

A military medium pacer, bowling well within himself, not putting in the effort to extract life out of pitches, and hence staying fit and playing all the matches ... pick loads of wickets by gently putting the ball in good areas. But this approach does not work in international cricket. The same " good area " gentle deliveries will get smashed mercilessly.

And no one should either ask a military medium dolly bowler to be picked for national duty,we have seen his Bharibojh recommendation

Tyagi is not mentally weak and has been trusted by KKR to bowl at death many times..he just need to fix full toss issues while trying yorker and it should be fine..

Also..a bowler who has gone through injuries and changes in action good number of times and coming back with full pace and inpact..cant be mentally weak..he didnt give up on pace

Salam has been doing well for Rcb as a 4/5 bowler, he should play IPL as these kind of bowler works in ipl and ipl team set-ups.

Harshel patel had 2 purple caps in ipl but he was getting hit for eco 10+ per game at intnl level. Such bowlers does not work when they #1/2/3 bowler for the side and when pitches are fresh and even outside ipl you will not find such bowler even included in the itnl teams (non-ind) because these pace change bowlers does not have a long shelf-life , plus such bowler get assistance in Ind  not only with pace change but at times those slow looking balls skiddy off the surface.

Over the years proper bowlers with pace and white-ball variations have worked at intnl levels , if some1 has pace they can add these skills anytime.

Hazelwood was not t20 bowler but he added t20 skills , even cummins is not even white-ball bowler but he has added slower bouncers.

I like Mohsin too but fitness is a major red flag..we want to rotate biwlers..rest Boom most of the times and evn Arsh occasionally if he is playing longer formats too..hence we need strike bowlers..not 3/4th option..one qdvantage with Rasik though is he is a decent bat..but you dont want to pick him for that

He has a major issue as he starts bowling high full tosses when under pressure. Call it mental weakness or something else but he struggles with it when put under pressure.

I'm only talking white-ball cricket. In fact I've stated that Tyagi should be tried in the longer format as he won't have pressure of batters going after him.

If Mohsin addresses his fitness he would be a shoo-in. Bowls in mid 140s, generates bounce, hits hard lengths, and tough to get away. Rasikh is an option and in the pool alongside a group of 6-8 bowlers. Whoever grabs their chances gets in. But that would be a revolving door as you need to have a bench of pacers for white-ball.

Its more of a skill issue atm..as Boom suggested him to oractice yorkers at the end of training or nets..when you are completely tired..if you can nail them consistently at that time..chances are you can nail them during match too..

A mentally weak pkayer may not try yorkers at cruicial stages due to low margin of error risks associated with it

The same kid has bowled back to back yorkers against Fin Allen, Markram, Pooran etc when he was just 20 years old to defend 4 runs. No Rasikh Babu or any other 5foot 2 inch trundler has achieved that.

Its not mental weakness, its the lack of overs & adaptability to new action. Happens when you change your action frequently, coz your body is rejecting the workload, he could have taken the easier route of bowling at once of a 11 year old school girl..but he didn't, coz that guy is passionate and loves fast bowling.

This isnt the first instant, Varun Aaron is a classic example..with his original action that guy was hitting wickets left right and center....probably his first 6-7 wickets were all bowled. Injuries forced him to change his action, in the match vs Bangladesh, Mushfiqur beat the living daylight of him. And he was bowling fulltosses.

What Tyagi needs is more overs with new action, this is something we all agree. But calling Rasikh better than Tyagi is incorrect.

Bumrah early on wasn't that accurate as well that people often forget.

He learned v fast but he was sorta Fasttracked as well and learned on the job.

These Tyagis and Ashok need similar treatment.

Let me put it this way... Tyagi's current action leads to him bowling full tosses and no-balls when he's put under pressure. He needs to fix that before being considered for higher levels.

Care to explain how does it lead to bowl full toss and over the waist no balls under pressure?

And which action is perfect by the way to bowl yorkers?

What are the key phases which lead to bowl perfect yorkers or attractors which synchronises perfectly with your nervvous system enabling you land perfect yorkers?

How an action wires well with your brain, tell me abiut the biomechanics?

Mohsin as of now bowls at Mukesh Choudhary level pace which is 142-144k max and mostly hovers at around 138-139k

Pre forearm injury Mohsin was a beast who could clock upto 150k easily.
