When the ball is so far outside your eye line you should try to play through off side not onside.

HE did the same in age group cricket as well. When the pitch is not ideal these shots won't come off most of the times

HE doesn't have to play it. Even if he plays, he cannot cross bat. This is not his problem alone. Most of our Indians do this.  ABhishek too.  Even Sai Sudarshan.

PRiyansh is 10 years older. So obviously he is likely to have more maturity. Vaibhav is in confused state now. THis is not a new issue. He always had this.  These pitches stop a bit.

Yeah he's been fetching the ball from outside off onto the legside on quite a few occasions. He should quickly improve on that aspect.

 

Instead of trying to whack every ball to boundary like T20s, he should learn to bat long in the other formats.

 

If he keeps playing like this and once the novelty of his age wears off, he will stop being relevant and people will quickly forget him. He will only be remembered for his T20 knocks.
