His breakthrough came in the 2024 season when he played for Rishabh Pant’s Purani Delhi 6 franchise. His ability to mix up his pace with minimal change in action set him apart, as he finished the season with 13 wickets in 10 matches. His standout performances earned him a white-ball debut for Delhi, where he had already played two Ranji Trophy games. Prince Yadav’s impressive performances did not go unnoticed. Just a day after his SMAT debut, the IPL 2025 mega auction took place, and Lucknow Super Giants secured his services for Rs 30 lakh. He continued his stellar form, emerging as Delhi’s highest wicket-taker in SMAT 2024-25 with 11 wickets at an economy rate of 7.54, helping them reach the semi-finals.
