He is opening in dpl, and opening slot is packed. Even at ipl level teams are looking for their own version of Abhishek/Arya/Viabhav.

 

He was unsold in IPL and will find it hard to get into any IPL side as an opener or even top order batter.

 

He avg. 47 in FC but will find it hard to get a chance for Ind side because of lack of IPL

Some decent performers in dpl :

Batters:

Sarthak Ranjan --was with kkr this season. opener 

Dev lakra- can bowl bit on seam-up mostly sub 130s kmph

Yash Bhatia--batting technique similar to Ferreria

Sanat --LH opener , plays with long handle but sometimes gets pinned by bouncer , good flowing bat swing

Sujal--LH top order batter has been consistent in the league

Monu Shukla

 

Already know player:

Dhull -- Has improved t20 game atleast for the league level , amongst top run getters in this and pervious seaon

Anuj Rawat --has been consistent every since the league started, think ipl has already seen him was not good at that level

Joon-- wk not that many runs but top 3 in six-hitters

 

Not many new outstanding bowlers this season.

 

Rohit yadav bowled 140+ kmph --plays for same team as mayank so, they alternate game by game, no that tall though

 

Bowler who are bowling 140+ kmph .

Same names:

Saini- still bowling 140+ kmph still not good 

Mayank

Simarjeet

 

top wkt takers :

Money -he bowls mid 130s to early 140s swing ball both ways , can surprise batter with zip sometimes

Early Season Notable Performances

 

 Anuj Rawat (Purani Dilli 6): Smashed the season’s first century with a brilliant 105 off 59 balls* (11 fours, 5 sixes) in the opening match against Central Delhi Kings.

 

Yash Dhull (Central Delhi Kings): Led a successful 203-run chase in response, scoring a fluent 72 off 45 balls to secure a 4-wicket win for his side.


Ayush Doseja (West Delhi Lions): Anchored the defending champions with a captain’s knock of 84 off 52 balls to set up a 19-run victory over New Delhi Tigers.

 

Anshuman Hooda (South Delhi Superstarz): Snagged the tournament's first five-wicket haul with lethal figures of 5/24 in 3.1 overs, triggering a dramatic late-innings collapse against East Delhi Riders.

 

Vansh Bedi (Central Delhi Kings): Blasted an unbeaten 47 off just 16 balls (3 fours, 5 sixes) at a massive 293.75 strike rate to power a 4-wicket victory over Outer Delhi Warriors.

 

 

Saw my first DPL match of the season....only few overs so far.   Anshuman Hooda of South Delhi bowled the entire over around 140 kph, one at 143 kph.  Tall and strong lad.  I want to watch more of him. Hope he gets the 4th over against New Delhi.

19th over for 4 runs. 3 balls round 140 kph.  The first was the fastest, but no speed was shown.  Guys, keep an eye on this boy.

good lh opener who is wk  too, he is been consistent run-getter in the league. Think he falls into same category like Anuj rawat who are v.good at league levels but ipl teams are not interested in them.

 

The overall issue with tnpl is lack of fast bowling most bowlers are sub 130s kmph, this pace does not work at intnl/ipl levels. And batters facing or scoring runs vs such pace does not work at ipl/itnl level.

 

Think only deepesh/Warrier/essakimutu bowls 135+ kmph

 

 

 

Urvil patel, Jagdeeshan,  Rawat and many other like them are not getting much chances in ipl. They have to bring something special. Urvil has score multiple 30-ball tons in Smat but he is not getting chances.

 

Jaghdeeshan keeps getting selected into Ind-As, do not think there is any plan for him but they are just selecting him for selecting him better give chaces to someone else if he is not in the plans

No wonder he is the leading wicket taker in the league. There are several first class and IPL bowlers in this league.

Leading bowler with 17 wickets. Grewal 13,  Harsh Tyagi 10. Bowled half of his deliveries around 140 kph.

If he adds some variations like fast yorker, wide  yorker he can be potent. At this point he pitches everything back of a length becomes predictable. Few guys like patidar used his pace to their advantage because of this predictability.
