What the hell happened to Hangargekar Our clueless ex-players actively hate genuine 145+ kph pace their wet dream is an entire bowling attack of 125 kph military medium trundlers and watching them lose their minds over slow mo line and length on commentary is pathetic. If VVS Lakshman becomes the next chief selector expect even more of these useless 120 kph dibbly dobblers in the squad

He took a 5fer in his last first class game against MP. Clean bowled Patidar. First innings 5 for 44. In the 2nd innings broke down in 2nd over. Since then no competitive game if i am right.  Ramakrishna Ghosh took 6fer

Biggest problem fast bowlers encounter will be injuries.  Some guys rarely get injured. Agarkar, Ishant, Siraj rarely get injured. Either it is action or genetics. But someone who strives for 140k and above will run into a lot of injuries. You gotta manage them.

Nagarkoti was a non-starter. Serious flop. Mavi played a few forgettable internationals. Trundling at 120k.  Arshdeep was the back up bowler of that batch. He has leapfrogged ahead of them thanks to IPL. At the end of the day all the U19 players have to make their mark in the iPL to get picked. Till then they have to slog in domestic.
