beetle
I like it. Not too much time wasted. Players will become more honest ...no more dramabaazi. And umpires will have to get their act together. In the long run...it will be the umpires best friend. Link to comment

DomainK
Its good.....no doubt. No more whinning from players. No more spoilers from umps. But India would do well to spend the chances wisely. THey challenged one and shows bad judgement in that one. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Referal system stiches India up! SL batsman out, snicks it and Benson gives it. Referral is done and is given not out. Then 2 balls later snicko shows he hit it! RIDICULOUS! Link to comment
sharma
i think its KKD more than referrals thats doing india in atm... Link to comment

DomainK
Its not going to be 100% perfect. There will be mistakes. I dont think the snicko services are available in the referal cases. The question remains: Should the benefit of doubt go to the batsman or the field umpire? If the video and audio evidence is inconclusive, should the field umpire's original decision be upheld or should the old practice be followed: benefit of doubt goes to the batsman? I guess a few changes will come into the system as we learn on the way. Link to comment

King Tendulkar
he didn't edge it....the bat hit the ground Snicko suggests that he did hit it! Link to comment
DomainK
TBH why would a batsman refer it after edging it ? It seemed that his bat hit the ground immediately after edging the ball. It looks distinct as we see in a slow replay, but in reality, its very difficult for the batsman to know whether he edged it or not. May be that the batsman genuinedly believed that he only hit the ground where he actually edged the ball and then hit the ground. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
TBH why would a batsman refer it after edging it ? Maybe he knew it was a thin egde so tried his luck! Just like a bowler still appeals even if they know its not out! Looking in to the reactions of players is not wise in determing decisions! Link to comment
King
It was a fair decision and a good one. Batsman would be stupid to waste a referal if he knew he nicked it. Link to comment
