Strogatz... anyone of the above... my s.o. once asked me if i could be born into a particular family of my choosing, which would it be? i remarked either the Bernoulli family in mid 18th century or the Vanderbilt family in the early 20th century. or my current family during the early 1940s... there is something particularly delightful about being born in excessive wealth or fame or both.
