Normal service resumes tomorrow... full course load of graduate courses, some i am looking forward to, and a few that i will be treating as a necessary evil. In retrospect, this was the first summer i have had off since i guess... 9th grade! And what a welcome break it was. I refused to leave my home for days at end, put on 10 pounds in the process, played cricket whenever i could, and ate a diet that comprised almost entirely of milk and cereal... And now, back to the grind! I will miss this summer. It is rare a 20 something lad can sit at home, and spend money on DVDs and beer without being labeled a bum! I think i recorded some 1000 posts during these past two months and while the coming semester is going to test my patience with the current educational paradigm, hopefully by this time next year i will start my doctorate at some ivy league university, be dating some leggy supermodel, drive around in a ducati and run for president...

first bit of good news... the professor has changed one of the texts for a course from a latest, 3rd edition that i purchased for about a hundred odd, to a previous, 2nd edition that happens to be available for free... some short chinese guy is going to get his nuts kicked tomorrow morning at 10am...

University of Houston... my parents wont let me go to TAMU after the bonfire incident and UH was considerably cheaper than UT when i first applied. Rice is too rich for me, but i would love to go there for graduate work.
