beetle
Why does he rush the "I am fit to play" bit? This is becoming so regular now............ Link to comment
Ram
I think this is just a precautionary measure. Surely, he cant get injured during non-playing days, unless of course, he picked it up during some net session. Highly unlikely though. Sachin WILL play in the 1st test, am sure. Link to comment
Sachinism
i guess its ok he doesnt play, but he'll need to get some match practice before the Aussies arrive Link to comment

This is becoming so regular now............ totally agree... i'm kinda getting sick with this whole series of "sachin getting injured, announcing he's ready, and then again going back to nurse his injury"... SachDan
i guess its ok he doesnt play' date=' but he'll need to get some match practice before the Aussies arrive[/quote'] Its so worrying..same was the case when Australia came here in 2004-05. He was suffering from tennis elbow then and played only two test matches.. scored a brilliant 55 at Mumbai that laid the platform for our unlikely victory. Link to comment
satishg
Geniuses do not need practice and net sessions. yea rite he will scratch thro the first match if that doesn happen..i have seen that many a times..wen without match practice he plays against the opposition..the first match he is made to look like a novice..2004 aussie series remember..the first 2 tests he din play..3rd test he was back and he failed both times against McGrath..no matter how great u are u need to be match fit..
