Texy Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I still remember that day when I turned on CNN to see 1st building on fire....and then 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower right in front of my eyes.... then the camera zoomed in and saw people holding hands and jumping off the top floors to their death....most horrific thing I have ever seen. RIP to all the victims

Lurker Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I was in Little Rock, Arkansas at the time. At my workplace I was the first person who knew this had happened. This was mainly due to the fact that I was bored with work that morning and connected to CNN website to be informed of that. I almost jumped out of my seat and let out a yelp loud enough for the neighbours in cubicle to stand up and wonder if I had a bad news or something. Once I informed them of what has happened we all rushed to the Corporate boardroom whichh had a Television. It was filled in no time, most of us sitting on the floor. Most people remembered the WTC as a place with fond memories since it was quite a hit for small town honeymooners(Little Rock is pretty darn small town). Then in front of our eyes we saw another Airplane approach and everyone panicked, started shouting, praying, crying. I can never forget that fraction of second before the 2nd Airplane hit. It is often said XYZ incident changed the world, but 911 really did change the world forever, and for worse I think. Life became too much more paranoid, people became more circumspect and cynical. The free living atitude towards life changed to a hateful, war-mongering world. xxx

My view on 9/11 is well known : I don't buy the conspiracy theory that it was an inside job : it is logistically, impossible to keep it under wraps- a total CIA/US govt. conspiracy scenario means thousands of people in collusion. Thats a practical impossibility, given that the first person to blow the whistle would not only get full senatorial protection(the US senate will investigate and protect the guy), the tabloids will be throwing millions at him/her for 'inside scoop'. It is ridiculous to think that thousands of ammoral people involved in this so-called conspiracy will somehow resist the temptation of millions of dollars and national spotlight down to the last man. That being said, i do think that the CIA/NSA had prior knowledge of 9/11 and its plannings- they let it happen, as it was the launch platform for the Iraq war and billions of dollars pumped into the defence industry with 9/11 the sole reasoning. That on the other hand is very much a believable scenario (and given the scientific holes in the official story, very much possible) as not only is there prior precedent to intelligence agencies 'finding out ahead of time whats cooking but manipulating the situation for their purposes', it would, realistically speaking, be a conspiracy involving no more than a few dozen people. But this doesn't negate the fact that 9-11 is a stark reminder to the contributions of Islam to mankind and one more chapter in its blood-soaked history. But hey, its to be expected...when your 'perfect man' is a genocider (yes, Mo was a genocider- categoric fact), it stands to reason that followers of this 'perfect man' would show a greater propensity for bloodbaths, bloodsheds and overall human suffering - which again, is vividly supported by history.

The first plane had just hit. I thought the smoke was from a chimney. I switched on the car radio just on a hunch and me and wifey were shocked when they announced that a second plane had hit the towers. There was a loud explosion and we could see it in front of our own eyes. Damn the haramkhor islamic terroristists and their apologists!!! I wept that day after a long long time. It was heart and gut wrenching to watch the towers go up on smoke.

Where the hell did your education from? madrassah? 9/11 changed the course of history....every country woke up to islamic terrorism after that. Hijacking 4 planes and using them as missile.... unbelievable! Can one imagine how much determined these guys were to kill men, women and children? how much planning they did with precision? how much brainwashed they were to not care about their own death but to raise jihad? Youngest victim in Pentagon crash...was 3 yr old girl who was in that plane, oldest victim was 71 yrs old Navy captain. A survivor found that girl's backpack and shoes and that's about it....everytime I think of this...blood boils!!

Obama said: "that here in America, we all have a stake in each other; I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper; and we rise and fall as one nation." --- 100% agree.... no SOB can break our determination..we will take Jihad up to them.
