Ram Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Not much has been said or written about him till now. For someone relatively new, he played remarkably well against us last in the ODIs. If anything, had he played against us in the CB series, Aus could have had a much better chance. He could play a surprise spoil-sport for us.
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Other than the odd fighting 30/40 I don't see Haddin causing serious trouble to the Indian attack. Hayden, M.Clarke & S.Clark will be the key players for Australia.
Chandan Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Aussie trump card?. Buchanan, the former Australian coach, thinks that Lee will be Australia's trump card while the former Tasmania coach and present Lanka coach Bayliss thinks that it'll be Krejza who might perform the role Mendis did to rout the Indians.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 cmon.. yo guys must hve gone nuts.. Ricky the Ponting wins da race by a long distance... If you are questioning thid, yo shouldn't be posting here :haha:
Cricketics Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Michael clarke what i believe wiill score heavily
Guest Hiten. Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 There are no hidden Aussie-trump card, IMO. Hayden, Katich and Clarke will be playing an essential role while batting whereas Lee and Clark will play a vital role in bowling department. For some reason I think India will be taking Ricky Ponting's role too lightly and/or ignoring it. This might bite us back, if we decide to ignore someone of Ricky's caliber. We have to attack Ponting in similar fashion as Sri Lankans attacked Yuvraj Singh by unleashing Mendis on him. There should be NO space for Ricky to breathe a sigh of relief. Attack him from the word go. I doubt Kumble will do that though.
satishg Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Katich is gonna be our main trouble batting wise..he is in awesome form and he is an excellent player against spin..Micheal Clarke is not far behind as well..bowling wise i think Stuart Clarke mite be the danger
