Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 After watching this guy bowl today - 9 overs on the trot, and the way he sent his B!tch and later Watson packing, I just couldn't resist falling in love with his bowling... Game after game, innings after inning, this lad delivers those deadly spells. Although the wicket column might show fewer numbers, the no. of almost wickets and wicket not to be due to umpiring errors are growing oh so rapidly... Today, the ball he bowled to welcome Haddin to the crease was a scorcher... If this dude can do this much on Indian soil, think of the magic he can cast when we are on overseas tours...:two_thumbs_up: Before anyone else start a fan club for him, I'm going to do the honours - The First Ishant Sharma Fan Club. Its pure joy watching him bowl :hatsoff:... If you think the same, join the club by posting in this thread...
SachDan Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 He'll take care of the Indian pace bowling department for the next ten years :two_thumbs_up:
King Tendulkar Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I love him. A genuine fast, tall indian pacer who bowls on the money and gets movement. He is the real deal. Already easily makes a top 5 world pacer list. As for the fan club I always backed him. Don't make me bump my Ishant Sharma appreiation thread that I started:winky:
Dravid Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 i will join,if he knocks over the rest 5 in 1st session and wins me 50 mill otherwsie, no... not yet :P
Shane Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 He has Ponting at his mercy, he should be goooooooooood !!!
DomainK Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 :hahaha:Ponting He must be wondering who would get him out next.....Bhajji or Ishant.
SachDan Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 The Indian Curtley Ambrose. ...with bit more pace to offer.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 ...and a lot less accuracy. did you see punter getting out bowled? well.. if yo're saying it wasn't accurate, then may be yes, he wasn't accurate enough to hit him in the BOX... tat would hve left him limping back to the dressing room and no more cricket (and other things) for the rest of his life...

Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Then wat abt Tics? almost an year ago he made us (leave the veterans) believe this lad has got in him to be a bright prospect for Team India after seeing his deadly spell against Padosis at Bangalore. Hmmm.. I wont take that... Even I was there at the stadium watching that 5 for in the first innings. But, I wasn't a member of ICF then to post anything about it...
King Tendulkar Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 He reminds me of Jason Gillespiese. Not only do they bowl similarly but also they both possesses awful haircuts.
Predator_05 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Watched the highlights again, man that was fun. Loved the reaction from Ponting after he got cleaned up - rooted to his crease, looking ahead, then looking behind at his stumps, deer in headlights look, completely confused about what just happened. That ball right there was a JAFFA. Loved the commentary from Nicholas as well; "BOWLED 'IM............EEESHANT SHARMA !! HE'S TOP CLASS !!"
