Sehwag is better than Lara !

Or at least has inherited his crown as the flamboyant, destructive, risk taking, take it to the oppo batsman. Sehwag is so underated. He destroys attacks and wins game singlehandedly with his detructive knocks. Loves massive scores like lara did. With double tons and triple tons. Like lara bats with no fear and massacres opposition bowlers and teams. He has taken his mantle and IMO is better then lara. As shown by the volume of runs and how he has done it against all attacks in all countries!

Lara was more flamboyant/graceful...Sehwag more aggressive/destructive...like a hurricane. Sehwag is a phenomena when in full flow...like a force of nature. Lara is the better batsman though, in my opinion. Sehwag the better spectacle.

how i wish sehwag is better than lara.hes my favorite. but hes more in hayden class rather than lara. like hayden is also aggresive n loves big scores

who gives a crap about grace when you can't win you team games... lara did win games for windies, but he was selfish too. that 400 i would just not rate that a great knock.. that was bloody selfish knock. and now look at our sehwag... not going for records.. just playing out all the overs with his brutal strokes regularly... keeping the runrate high and making sure the game is on and not a dull draw

That was a bit selfish no doubt. As a captain, his job was to try to win, not make records.

All the more reason why the bowlers should have been given more time.

But the 400 also would have given the bowlers tremendous pride in the side and the achievement and more incentive to bring it home. That could make up for the time. It would have lifted them. I reckon doing something that unprecedented infused the whole team and the whole West Indies with a sense of achievement and pride...that in itself should have given the players the momentum to roll the opposition.

yaa surely when u bat for 3 bloody days and have to bowl the oppostion out in remaining 2 dayz.. mind you 20 wickets in 2 days on a good batting track.. then surely it will be giving their bowlers great pride...

windies were in tatters that time they had lost 3 consecutive tests.so another batting failure n it'd been a whitewash.also 20 wickets in 2 and a half days is not that difficult, the english were playing for a draw and had windies bowled n fielded a little better n took thier catchesthey'd have done the job. any way they managed to take 15 wickets.

Doesnt matter who the opposition is, the longest/most dramatic celebrations are seen after sehwags wicket.
