there wasnt an iota of doubt over his ability in subcontinent,but even after playing for 8 yrs,he sucks big time bowling away.he bowled well today,but eng also played into his hands,he needs to be consistent tho. btw,what happened to your "'Raina is a class act" claims,KT???

While not getting too many wickets abroad, he still gets us vital breakthroughs (Hayden, Ponting in Oz)...and under helpful conditions abroad, he does also get volume, like in Sri lanka... I remember when the Aussies used to say Kumble was overrated because he couldn't get wickets in Oz...then came the 2003 - 2004 tour when he took a bag of wickets and set that perception straight. Bhajji has plenty of time to set his critics straight, likewise...and he will do it one of these tours.

Thats good and all, but from watching him bowl recently I don't know how he got there. Come on even you as a big fan of his must be disappointed at the way he has been chucking darts.

With current form, I'd prefer playing Ojha and mishra as our main spinners . Bhajji is surviving with his mediocre performance just because of his image.

Bhajji is doing well. He's good enough right now to be our primary spinner because he also contributes with the bat. Ojha though needs to be there as the 2nd spinner though.

He's been fine in Tests - can't really expect a finger spinner to rip through sides on good tracks. It's his ODI bowling which has been really pathetic.
