It almost feels like HariSampath made a comeback to the forums to launch a tirade against Rahul Dravid. Now then don't sprout the entire forums with this stuff. You have an opinion but don't carry that opinion in every possible thread, keep it to this one alone.

Isnt that a lot of assuming, because I had been having that chance daily for 6 months...getting too big ravi ?

I had cussed at Dravid because he had been playing terrible cricket and adversely impacting India's fortunes. And I certainly dont need any advice from you on what is civil and what is not. IF anything "gets out of hand" I am sure mods are here to deal with it whosover it is, including you. And keep your strongarm tactics to others, many of whom, excellent posters have already left the forum because of you. It doesnt work with me. Go easy on the lecturing bit, maybe its one of your old habits .

He gets to deciede what is civil and what is not on this site- even if he isnt active at moderating it. At the end of the day, this isnt a democracy. You gotto play by Ravi's rules or leave - it is that simple. And to be fair, Ravi is one of the most relaxed dudes on this forum so i'd say don't let your ego get in the way of this one and just tone it down. Remember, this is a friggging sport - a man whacks a ball with a stick and another 11 chase it. Too much venom over this kind of activity ( meaningless and utterly escapist in the grand scheme of things) isnt very worthy of someone who wished to debate on metaphysics and philosophy not too long ago ( i havnt had the time btw, just so you know).

And besides, I know Ravi for more 4-5 years now. When he speaks he really really has a point. Thats been my observation on this man. I would say Hari should just tone down a bit.

The team now is good enough to handle itself and with Tendulkar, Laxman and Ganguly in good batting form. Rahul can relax a little and enjoy the rest of his career. It is not Rahul Dravid who needs to "worry" about his batting, it is the team who should worry about how much longer he is going to stick on, get no runs, and upset the rythm of great starts that Indian openers are giving. There is no "rest of career"...only rest, after his career, which is over.
