Most probably, he’s from a conservative middle class Malayali family and still holds most of those ideals to heart. The phrase "doesn't even drink" hence less likely to be playboy tells me you do correlate champgne drinkning with skirt-chasing.... Meaning your earlier agreement to the point, that it proves nothing, was just skin-deep. It proves nothing hence there is no need to mention whether he drinks or not ti has no ebaring on his playboy tendencies.. Not that there is anything wrong with being playboy..
