The Outsider Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 The site is at it's most active during US office hours, as people like me who are supposed to working at that time, click and post quite often and there is substantial activity during that time. In the early morning hours most of us are rushing to make it to office, and in the evenings we pack up and spend time with families, go out for dinner etc. etc. However, there are times during non match days (match days are usually busy throughout given most matches take place in US nights) when I can't sleep or have been put in the dog house and try to think up of something imaginative to write and work and on a small percentage of those am actually able to come up with some good productive work and/or some half decent post on ICF, and await a response/discussion. But normally, nothing happens during these off peak hours.(Am I an attention whor.e for that? Maybe...) Not that I have written anything worthwhile tonight, but this is something a lot of our non-US posters must be going through.....when they are itching to climb into the ugly hoick Yuvraj played, when they suddenly remembered of an occasion where Tendulkar batted selfishly and are willing to draw battle lines for it, when they think they've come up with a solution to the Middle East crisis......do you just indulge yourself into your daily chores and wait for the next day when the bulk of ICF would have read and responded or do you keep on checking the thread for someone to respond. I do the latter...perhaps I am an attention whor.e. PS : I won't be clicking on this thread too eagerly for the responses so don't try to indulge me.

UK, Canada and Australia come next That might be true as far as number of visitors go, but my guess is a lot are generally lurkers or semi silent readers rather than active posters. I don't have the stats but we should be able to check during which hours we get our maximum post volume I guess?
