If a character like that can get Bharat ratna then what is wrong with dhoni/bhajji getting padmshri.... All these awards got devalued way back wonder why are u folks showing surprise now.. The mofos even delayed our founding father Sardar Patel for Bharat Ratna and only awarded him later after Rajiv Gandhi was declared, as a face saving excercise. Even Vir Sanghavi has criticized Kaangress for this brazen haraamipana looong back! Harbhajan Singh is far better than Burkhaaa Dutts and Rajdeep Sardesais, at least he refuses to serve anyone on his feet, unlike dynasty worshipping Kaangressis in India. Link to comment

If taking 300 test wickets is easy then certainly getting this award is that easy? If not, because only 23 persons in the entire history of test cricket have taken that, Bhajji fully deserves the award. And Dhoni is one world championship winning captain too. Lord Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 dunno why nobody recognised veeru's efforts?hes had a much better year than both dhoni n bhajji n deserved the award most.dhoni has already been given the khel ratna(that was undesrving too) so now awarding him again so soon makes no sense.bhajii thos has taken lots of wickets,but was never at his consistent best.if anybody desrved the award,it was viru. n i'm more surprised why AK or rahul dravid havent been given thses awards thru out their careers,they deserve it the most Link to comment
