On pp i posted on 28/12/08 "I have just been to India a few months ago. The people were fantastic (apart from a cab driver and airport staff in Mumbai) and have wonderful hearts. I genuinely used to be very sceptical about India but learned to differentiate between the government and the people. I don't want war. People do not truly want war in India. The Indian media is truly disgraceful for the frenzy it has whipped up. The Indian government has handled this manner in appalling manner that the Indian people and Pakistani people do not deserve. There was nothing I said that isn't truth. There's hardly a place in the cricket world for a Pakistan's views or opinions. Honestly no one cares about Pakistan cricket or it's worldly affairs. It’s a fact and you need to get used to it. I’m not abusing you or your country but merely stating the fact. If you were UAE an oil rich country you will have people giving you an ear, if you were economically strong or a super power we will hear ya. Lest if you were a world beater in cricket you will get your due and people will hear ya. It’s brutal but is the law of the nature. When you are down in dumps no one cares what you folks say. Similarly no one cares about Zimbabwe and what their opinions are. If Pakistan turns out to be a world beater in cricket, their writers will be heard otherwise who cares about a cricketing nation that hardly plays any decent cricket these days? We all have a good hearty laugh when 1. Pak Fail at cricket -> check out some of the match threads 2. Foreign times refuse to tour Pak and any other matter, cricket and politics wise Its just that simple. If it isn't obvious before, I hope it's crystal clear now

Even if he posts on PP or even if he posts crap about India on PP, why should it become a point of discussion here? Why can't people just respond to posts rather than doing a bloody psychoanalysis turning every other thread about personalities rather than discussion.

Some or few of you guys seriously need to stop this non-sense of beard and mullahs. If a player grows a beard why is it a problem for you or anyone? Just b/c few corrupt mullahs you will blame everyone with a beard! I could say the same thing that clean shaven guys in Indian cricket remind me of Hitler, Bush, those terrorists of Mumbai etc etc. And I can bet there are more criminals without beards than hardly few with beard and that goes for all religions....not like only Muslims keep beards. Good and bad people are every where, so grow up and develop a sense of humor which doesn't offend a religion followed by 20% of your local population or more than 25% of this world.
