Shehezaada Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Certainly is not beyond the realms of physical possibility. For the large portion of fast bowlers' date=' a run up only adds 5-15% of the speed which means that your 80mph bowler that you faced would be likely to bowl 68-76mph if you asked him to bowl full pace without a run up.[/quote'] Really? I'll try it out in the nets one day. Doesn't seem possible but who knows you could be right.
zubinpepsi Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 any news here yeah there was an incident in the morning.. tht some gunmen fired at SL team bus and several players were injured.. and the players were wiating to b taken back to sirlanka.. dint you check ??
triam Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Really? I'll try it out in the nets one day. Doesn't seem possible but who knows you could be right. Base ball pitchers clock close to 100 mph standing still although it is chucking, so it is possible to bowl at 80 i guess without chucking and standing still.

rkt.india Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Either way' date=' now lets hope he gets picked to play :D[/quote'] Obviously he will play, RR is a very sober side and that is why we heard of him so late in the news, any other franchise would have disclosed him quite early, but RR dont want any hype surrounding him.
