I cant Stand Ravi Shastri's commentary..

Shashtri is the worst commentator in the world. I cant stand him, I feel like killing myself every time I have to listen to him. The man is a dull lifeless cliche machine, never has any of his own stories or insights and has the personality of a turd. I know there are some right dicks commentating around the world but even compared to the like of Healy, Holding and Greig, Shastri is in a league of his own for sheer awfulness.

I think he's ok. When India is on top, I would rather hear him than a Nasser or a Boycott who always has ifs and buts. When India is not doing good, he's the optimist person who you want on your side than a gloomy Ramiz Raja or Holding. He's like those radio commentators who brought excitement to the game by getting excited themselves. What will game be without such characters? As far as analysis goes, I find myself completely capable to understand where India stands in a game and what any player should do. So listening to any Boycott or a Nasser Hussain does not help me in any way.

Ravi is still ok..i can't stand Sanjy and Wasim..wasim the worst.... he goes like this.. Watson 45 matches, 2000 runs at avg of 41 with sr of 87 .. that is all wasim has to say and couple of other gimmicks...i mean really?

Give me Shastri anyday man. That dude got personality. Besides he has a powerful voice, very clear, crisp and he is entertaining. Don't know what's wrong with some here but Shastri is a good commentator. He probably ranks just below Harsha, and on par with Saurav. That said someone please get rid of Wasim please.

hated him form day one , really cant stand the guy . Sanjay is best of the lot imo , his tone is a little annoying ..but the only sub continent commentator who makes some good observations relevant to cricket .

Frankly the only Indian commie worth listening to is Gavaskar. But since his tete a tete with the BCCI hags, he's starting to be phased out which is unfortunate.
