Bailey' date='Ferguson should play Tests too imo[/quote'] Callum Fergusson? Even your robot stats theory is against him playing Test matches! Usman Khawaja or Shaun Marsh look much better prospects in Test matches.

I've said this a few times; the kid's a legend in the making. Not the most classical technique, so what? Solid, assured, cool headed and mature beyond his years with a wonderful range of shots, the temperament to make runs against some of the world's best bowlers on all conditions and a fearlessness that will help him become one of the great Australian batsmen. First test century three months after his 20th birthday, in his 2nd test. There are lots more ahead.

didnt check his stats, they are surprisingly poor,so maybe I am wrong.I watched him in Shield matches couple of years back n he looked decent. Khawaja deserves a go yes, forgot him.Marsh is decent too, specially for these conditions

Not the best but he is class and will do better than overrated hacks like Warner.

Alan Border has already mentioned that Hughes 2012 is like Ponting 1998' date=' 2001.[/quote'] He is good against pace but with that technique in SC he is going to fail miserably.

Brilliant? He was the best against short balls. I remember him pwning Steyn in their tour of SA where the last match was that record 400 chase, he hammered 2-3 fours in an over of Steyn where he kept bursting in short one and punter kept pulling and hooking it.
