Some info when I was looking up omega 3 sources and benefits. I may have slipped up on the finer details: I've read that Omega 3 fatty acids , EPA and DHA, help in the development of the brain. Also these fatty acids are mainly found in fish, and not in non-vegetarian sources. However, the shorter chain of these acids, ALA, can be found in vegetarian sources. Theoretically, the body can produce the longer chain of fatty acids EPA and DHA from the ALAs, but it requires lots of ALA consumption. And that there is some research going on to derive them from algae in a lab setup so that we can vegetarian sources of the these EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids.
The neurons in the brain develop very early in life, and long chain fatty acids are very important in the process. These are an essential part of the phospholipids which make up the brain. However, the brain cannot replace worn out neurons, hence eating more fatty acid rich foods during life doesn't boost the brain. The only fuel the brain can use is glucose. Therefore, while long chain fatty acids are the building blocks, glucose is the fuel.

For all the IT professionals, object oriented programming, is really not any better than procedural programming and some experts contend that the popularity of oop is to limit the damage that some mediocre programmers can wreck upon the projects.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSwhpF9iJSs]YouTube - Super Brain Yoga[/ame] http://scienceofhinduism.blogspot.com/2009/03/thoppukaranam-alias-super-brain-yoga.html

As you can understand, this exercise, called "Super Brain Yoga" by the Americans, is nothing but the simple "Thoppukaranam", the reverential practice done by Hindus in front of Lord Ganesha's temple. As per the medical research and subsequent report, doing these special kind of situps while holding the opposite earlobes help stimulate brain power and remember things better. Hindus have been doing "Super Brain Yoga" for ages in front of temples devoted to Lord Ganesha. In fact, I have observed that while crossing a Ganesha temple on road, most people stop, take off their footwear, perform "Thoppukaranam", and then resume their journey. Lord Ganesha is associated with Knowledge/Memory, a point which is now proved by this research. But what is saddening is that many of our traditions are being copyrighted by the western world, and the latest point in this case is "Thoppukaranam" being copyrighted as "Super Brain Yoga"...

I think that quote actually says that in oop if you shoot yourself in the foot, you lose your whole leg, which means oop is quite hard to screw up but if you manage to do it, the impact is more? Im confused.

The greeting "Namaste" is actually an ancient Indian Mantra that is used to acknowledge the eternal spirit that resides in the person you say Namaste to. It is equivalent to talking to the other spirit and saying: "I can see you are in there and I extend my highest respect to you."
