veeru_rocks Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Yesterday I visisted one of my telugu friend, it was sort of get together of telugu fraternity . I was kind of intruder.. During conversation there I gathered one lady engg graduate well placed didn't know the year of independence of India... Reminded me of one of my colleague from IIT Chennai ( otherwise a brilliant guy )who asked me after the federal election in which Karunanidhi wiped Jayalatiha's party; how come Jayalalitha is still CM I thought she lost election.. Are these just chance anecdotes or there is some serious problem via a viz knowledge of indian history and constitution in south india..
