SachDan Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Will you be praying for his wicket from ball one ?? or won't mind Sachin scoring big as long as Mumbai doesn't win ! or in the extreme scenario, would you settle for your team loosing only to Sachin's team ?
Cricketics Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 would love to see him get out easily early against Delhi and Punjab. By the way Ii would be more worried about Jayasuriya rather then Tendulkar. Tendulkar won't come as brutal as Jaysurya.
Rajan Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 won't mind Sachin scoring big as long as Mumbai doesn't win ! what more u can want! SRT can score 200* , CSK/BRC win, i will be doubly happy!
kirtan Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Its about against whom. I'll care if the opposite team is RCB or RR
kooljatt Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 won't mind MI winning against all expect Delhi & Punjab... Wud want Sachin 2 get out early ? ....hmmmmm , well these things comes 2 mind Have u gone crazy !!! R u nuts !!! U must be paki !!! Or best 1... U must be finelatt !!!
spectre Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Not only Sachin, I want all India players to score well, mainly the rookies BUT BUT BUT not against CSK anyways, Sachin is not much of a threat in T20s
Holysmoke Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 By the way Ii would be more worried about Jayasuriya rather then Tendulkar. Tendulkar won't come as brutal as Jaysurya. anyways, Sachin is not much of a threat in T20s It's the fact that Sachin is at the other end that gives Surya the license to go after the bowlers. No wonder, after opening for the first time with Sachin, he was MOM, and said that "This is the best day of my life, I am opening with Sachin so no pressure on me":giggle:
Cricketics Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 No wonder' date=' after opening for the first time with Sachin[/quote'] this wasn't the first time he wasopening with sachin. he has opened with Tendlya in the past.
cowboysfan Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 sachin makes duck in both the matches against BRC and i will be happy.
graphic23 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 :emc: shall interfere at celebrations of Sachin's dismissal.
fineleg Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 danra, So, are we also going to have threads for non-CSK supporters: MSD and Raina - same question non-Calcutta supporters: Ganguly - same question non-BRC supporters: RD - same question non-Punjab supporters: Yuvi - same question
graphic23 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Meh. The only one that matters is Sachin because he's loved all over India, while the others are liked all over India but loved only in their respective states/towns. The only other person that can garner that respect is Dravid, actually - because he's loved more outside of Bangalore than in Bangalore .. which doesn't make any sense.

flamy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 He ain't representing India, so don't care either way. But, at the end of tournament, I want all Indians to be toppers in catches, runs, wickets etc.

flamy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 ^^ Ya, my bad. That category is already taken. :agree:

The others may have a lot of adulation when they play for Team India as well. Point is - this is just some IPL where the teams are different - this is not "Indian team" playing so support will be max for the city teams naturally. Anyway to answer the OP: I hope SRT scores lots of runs against other teams, but gets out cheaply against CSK! Hope same fate for Jayasuriya too who is actually lot more dangerous in this tournament than SRT. GO CSK!
