flamy
Albie will be there next match and maybe even Ntini. Drop Thushara.
fineleg
Hayden, Flintoff, Ntini, Muralitharan, Albie Morkel, Oram, Thushara which 4 should play (only 4 foreign players max) I'll go with Hayden, Flintoff, Ntini, Albie - tough decision to leave out Murli but in SA we need the fast bowling all rounders. The Outsider
Yeah, I agree with you in the interests of Southie teams continuing to suck. Seriously, after what Warne and Kumble did today and how spinners have consistently troubled batsmen during the Aus-SA ODI series, how can you think of leaving Murali out? flamy
You have a point, punter. But, it's too damn tight now. I'd leave out Ntini if forced for Murali. Albie is a must. Once Flintoff leaves, it'll become easier for us. What irony!
flamy
This should be the 11: 1. Hayden 2. PaPa 3. M. Vijay 4. Raina 5. Dhoni 6. Flintoff 7. Badrinath 8. Albie 9. Balaji/ S. Tyagi 10. GONY 11. Muralitharan
fineleg
You make a good point shwetabh. Flintoff and Albie are allrounders and CSK needs them, esp Albie is a clean hitter and good finisher. Hayden - opener so selected One position - Ntini vs Murali We can go for Murali, yeah tough choice either way. Ntini knows SA pitches quite well, and will be good to have to open the bowling. I guess MSD has to have a look at the pitch and then decide the 11. CSK batting looks very weak :(( PaPa, M.Vijay, Badrinath - they are not T20 power players! they all can play Tests better :((
spectre
CSK batting looks very weak :(( one match, and the batting has suddenly become very weak , wth You don't need all power hitters from 1-7 in a T20, u also need some players to rotate strike, keep one end and have a partnership Dravid is supposedly not a T20 player but he won the game for BRC through sensible cricket

Desi Cartman
@ OP If MSD has something against badri then why does he include him in the XI ? I guess MSD doesnt have much confidence in badri. badri is like dravid while MSD is trying to find batsmen like McCullum , Jaya etc MSd could have easily traded badri with another team but he didnt .. I also think badri should have come higher in the order though
cowboysfan
i see CSK problem immediately-3 FTBs who need time to adjust the the pitches in south africa.their foreign contingent is awesome though and along with Dhoni will win them a lot of games. Cannot compare that luxury with PaPa or M.Vijay. Anyway, we'll see how it turns out.
