Guest gaurav_indian Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Royals in a spot of bother, Warne injured New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals' journey to the last four stage of the Indian Premier League just got tougher. Skipper Shane Warne is likely to sit out of the rest of the tournament with a hamstring injury. The news has come as a huge setback for the defending champions who have already lost two bowlers - Kamran Khan and Amit Singh - because of suspect action. The Rajasthan skipper, who came out to bat with a runner last night, has suffered a hamstring injury which will force him to sit out for the next 10 days or so. Warne's injury will come as huge blow for defending champions who are in a serious crisis of missing out on the semi-final spot. The Royals with 11 points still have a chance of making it to the final four, but now with Warne on the bench it will be interesting to see who will lead the side in his absence. http://cricketnext.in.com/news/royals-in-a-spot-of-bother-warne-injured/40788-27.html flamy :whack::whack::whack::whack::whack::whack::whack: Stop jinxing warne  Warne is injured.
cowboysfan Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 its a shame but his bowling in IPL2 was nothing special.
cowboysfan Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Looks like no one wants the 4th spot. who has the 3rd spot?
cowboysfan Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 DC' date=' IMO.[/quote'] i dont know -they look very beatable to me but they do have good indian talent though and symonds is getting back into form ,so that helps.
umpire Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Graeme Smith will lead now and as a Royal Supporter, I hope we can make it to final 4 and kick some a@$$
h4te Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 don't worry baize, Atul Sharma will take the Royals to the semis :yay: sonal didi, please fix Atul soon
The Outsider Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Disappointing news, but hopefully Smith will rise to the occasion and also lead from the front - all RR need is a couple of big ones from Smith and a couple of big ones from Pathan and then it's anyone's Semi Final.
ViruRulez Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 DD' date=' CSK and DC are locks IMO[/quote'] DC are almost 90% sure to the semis alongside DD and CSK They have still to play 4 matches and they have weaker opponents while all others have tougher opponents

ViruRulez Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I hope DD' date='DC,MI and RR reach the semi finals.:orderorder: No CSK plz.[/quote'] CSK is 95% sure to reach the semis unless something terribly goes wrong The benefit for CSK is that they have got the best Indian talents with MSD, Raina from the national side and they have domestic talents like Badri, Vijay, Tyagi and Jakati

vvvslaxman Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Albie is yet to fire. Dhoni can create an impression that his team is really strong even if there are lot of flaws (which they do have. One of the worst fielding side on display). Give the same team to Buckahanan. he will make mince meat of it.

Don Sharma Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Smith when given the extra responsibility of captaincy, always does well. So I think RR has got an outside chance but my money is still on MI.
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Without Warne to out-think Dhoni and Hayden, CSK is surly gonna win against Bangalore tomorrow
