bharat297 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Come on ... there are so many more colours to choose from. What was wrong with the sky blue India had previously? Now they are wearing basically the same blue as Sri Lanka. England and Scotland are also wearing blue, but dark and light blue respectively. Not to mention, Ireland, Bangladesh and South Africa all have roughly the same green on their jerseys. Then we have Pakistan, with a slightly darker shade of green. No team is wearing Red. ITS A WORLD CUP ... Theres meant to be a plethora of different colours. Why not just go with ... Australia - Yellow India - Sky Blue England - Red Sri Lanka - Royal Blue (i.e. their current colour) Pakistan - Fluro green (a.l.a. 1999 world cup) South Africa - Green (their current colour) Bangladesh - Dark green West Indies - Maroon New Zealand - Grey and Black Ireland - Light green Scotland - Navy Blue Netherlands - Orange If India really wanted to change their jersey, they should have changed to the Navy Blue (like they wore for the 1992 world cup) and Scotland would wear the light blue.
spectre Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I like the New India jersey..looks really good to me why the heck Srilanka keeps taking our color and pommies, they can settle for something pink :--D
bharat297 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 I hate this new India jersey ... this is ridiculous ... and Sri Lanka havent taken jersey ... coz theyve had that colour for about 16-17 years now.
cowboysfan Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 the sky blue was kind of gay-glad we got rid of it.it was not a "strong" color.
graphic23 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I personally liked the previous color. I don't mind this one either but the one before this was my favorite one. (no homo)
rahulrulezz Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 wasssup with that orange thing on the asses.... that just screws up the whole jersey
bharat297 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 The jerseys we wore for the 1999 world cup and the 2003 world cup were Awesome ... I want those back !!!
Gambit Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I love this jersey. It's much better than the baby blue we used to sport earlier. My all time favourite Indian jersey is the 1992 one.
flamy Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I love this jersey and the orange on the ass. :icflove:
ViruRulez Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I love this jersey and hte orange on the ass. :icflove: :dito:
vipin Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I love the jersey along with the orange. From a distance no orange would look too monotonous. That thing on the ass looks cool from a distance ;)
bharat297 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 I loved this Indian jersey This was our best jersey IMO
graphic23 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Which game is that? The one where that overrated batsman ran away from genital warts?
bharat297 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 ^ Nah Shikhar Dhawan wasnt playing back then
Sachinism Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Which game is that? The one where that overrated batsman ran away from genital warts? Ran away? WC 03 I've grown to like the new jersey. I used to love the older one, but now I prefer the new one over the old
Shane Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 This jersey is axe-cellent, whats more its similar to Arsenal's away jersey of 2009-10 :icflove:
graphic23 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Ran away? WC 03 I've grown to like the new jersey. I used to love the older one, but now I prefer the new one over the old *sigh* :P
JayStarz Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I liked our shirt with the huge paint streaks on the front, and fully sky blue the rest of of it (not the one above with the black/navy stripes). The South African one is VERY gay...why are they wearing a skin tight jersey? they look like a bunch of ***s.
JayStarz Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I don't mind our new one too much, I just miss the paint streaks!
