donkey Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 This thread was created during T20s and he was blamed right, left, and centre for his pathetic performance- rightly so...I am all for banning him from playing for India in T20s... But now we are playing ODIs and these are his figures after the T20 WC: Batting: 61*, DNB, 51, 19, DNB, 6 Bowling: 2/49, 2/27, 0/54, 1/27, 1/43 Looks good enough for me to be tried further more in ODIs as an alrounder...don't confuse his performaces in ODIs and T20s...Have some perspective and relax... His 61 and 51 came against Zimbabwe bowling attack. To be honest even his low scores arent much of an issue, its his failure to perform in those crucial moments.
asterix Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 We can all ignore Jadeja and "enjoy the moment"..But I'm more worried about WC. He needs to be removed from the team. He is not up to it. He will definitely screw us in WC, if he continues to be in Dhoni's 'good books'. Jadeja had managed too many screw ups. Anyway, I'm going to savour our fantastic victory now.. Laterz..
donkey Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Looks like some people were praying for a pakistan win so that they can come here and hurl a few more abuses at our players. Now that we have won' date=' they have been denied the opportunity and hence attacking Jadeja.[/quote'] Looks like you were praying for Jadeja to score the winning runs so you can come here and hurt a few abuses at us. Now that you have been denied the opportunity, you still come here.
Sachinism Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Sachinism.. It's very frustrating the way this guy bats. Any other decent bowler who can bat a bit will do. Not this guy. Ajmal made the gravest mistake in getting him out..They were winning it easily.. I agree his batting looks horrible. He has shown against weaker attacks that he is slightly capable, maybe it will take some time for him to become an all-rounder. We need to drop him down the order. He bowled terribly in the T20's but he is a decent ODI bowler. Brilliant fielder when he gets it right.

Do you remember what thay did to our batsmen in thsoe matches? Do you remember how our team unfolded against that 'zimbabwe bowling attack? No use trying to explain this to a donkey.

rahulrulezz Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Indian team and Jadeja?????? Seriouslyyyyy WTF!!!!!!! I swear to god, I wouldn't select Jadeja even for my gully team.... The guy just rolls his arm and cant efffing bat for god sake...other teams have C.White, Hussey, A.Razzaq, D.Bravo, S.Afridi, Mathews, Shakib, A Morkel, Vettori playing at number 7 and 8 and we have this slumdog millionaire playing for us... every time I see this guy in the team, I always feel like supporting opposition...I can't believe that with over a population of a billion, we are playing this stupid malnourished bhikari with nooo talent.....Just like how he was the sole reason for kicking us out from T20 worldcup 2009 and 2010, he's gonna knock us out of 2011 worldcup as well....Just wait and watch... I am the biggest fan of Dhoni but I just hate him for sticking with Jadeja for last 2 years. Dhoni just doesnt learn....2 T20 worldcups, Champions trophy and almost Asia cup ..seriously dude, even I am farrr better option than Jadeja....watching Jadeja's face in Indian colors just pisses me offf!!!
Roshanrocks Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 he shudnt be at number 7, he should bat below PK :hmmm: His bowling is ok...it seems

He is soo strong that when he smashes... i mean hit the ball super hard... its reaches as far as 30m circle. Maybe ICC should come up with a new rule for jadoo by declaring a six every time he clears the 30m circle. Such is the power of our malnourished alien.
Chaos Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 ^^^ Jaddu has helped the team today by getting out early...so go easy on him guys :winky: I almost went crazy ... my gf was like wtf happened to you. Never in my life did a cricketer get on my nerves like this. His figurine has some Psychic powers. Just by looking at him i go crazy... uhgggg
Chaos Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 he looked clueless' date=' and definetely boosted paki bowlers at one stage :nervous:[/quote'] you have to look at his facial emotions... it was as if, his parents beat the **** out of him for bunking school lol
Ram Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 No.7 is about 4 spots too high a batting spot for Jadeja. How long are we going to pretend as though he's no.7 bat? Its bizarre how the Indian keeps thrusting him at the no.7 spot, especially when he's looked quite clueless against quality bowling in pressure situations. He batting lacks every single attribute thats required of a modern day ODI bat - Power, timing, placement, ability to rotate the strike, coming down the track against spinners, ability to sweep against the spinners, ability to play the moving ball, ability to clear the infield... He doesnt tick even two of these gazillion boxes. Its almost as though the Indian team isnt simply watching when this guy holds a bat in his hand. But one thing's undeniable - The guy's an unfailingly effective LOI bowler and a reasonable fielder. And as long as we cannot find effective replacements, he will probably continue in the team. But the bad news is, with him at no.7, we're almost certain to mess up at least one knock-out match in the WC '11. So there goes that elusive dream... :(( Even today, it should have NEVER come to the point where we needed bollywood style last minute heroics from Bhajji. When Dhoni was dismissed, we needed 60 off 8 overs AND a power-play in hand. A no.7 'batsmen' should have closed out the match with 1 over to spare under those circumstances. Come to think of it, this match could have easily slipped out of our grasp, but for a few lusty blows by our tail-enders.

Correction: The match could have easily slipped out of our grasp, but for his timely wicket by Ajmal. The malnourished alien almost managed to screw up Batting PP overs. He is not fit to bat above No. 10 batsman. He is nervour wrek more than a pathetic tailender like Chris Martin. I don't know how to convey this message to the Team management and Dhoni.
Ranjha Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 How much was paid? By Jadeja to be in the team and to who? Discuss.
maverick.rules Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 good licking services to dhoni and selectors cant think of any other reason why he should be in the team and ruin our chances of winning :((
