MUMBAISKIPPER
I don't know what's going on between them but success has gone to their heads...they just cannot take anything for granted. Link to comment
CricketGirl
You haven't read the thread right. It was Dhoni's fault as it was his call, thats not what we're discussing. Yuvraj has become a slob, and consequently his deadness seems to have hampered our whole team's spirits in the field. i know that! i was asking for your opinion as i personally has mixed feelings over what happened in that over!! As for Yuvraj even the commentators made a remark about how yuvi has become overweight!! The team mustn't rely on one person alone is my personal feeling here it should be all for one and one for all!! Link to comment
Sachinism
So who's fault was Dhoni's wicket?? Yuvi didnt run at dhonis signal so was it Yuvis fault?? or Dhonis for taking the risk of running that run in the 1st place?? look, if he hadnt made that run many of us would have scrutinised the guy! this tournament has been a no brainer for the indian cricket team!! at the start we all sang praises of india being in the IPL and how IPL has put them in top form now that we have lost we're blaming the IPL for injured, worn out from the IPL. Any how long is the average mourning period 40 days?? or can we move on and look forward to some cricket that our boys are really capable of playing?? You haven't read the thread right. It is Yuvi's fault, its Dhoni's call, Dhoni is running to the danger end, Yuvi should have responded to the call. Look how far Dhoni had run and then had to turn around and get back, there was a single there, Yuvi wasn't awake to the situation Link to comment

Question is - is this just a minor blip or will further friction between the two "biggies! of the team cause future hurt?? :nervous::nervous::nervous: Link to comment
MUMBAISKIPPER
seriously if ever there is any kinda friction between them, they must sort them out immediately...internal rivalry not good for Indian cricket. Link to comment
Tapioca
I sense its all coming from Dhoni. Yuvi looked pretty pissed at Dhoni getting himself out, even if there wasn't a run, Yuvi wasn't taking it and Dhoni couldn't read that at all! The second time, there was clearly a run, I mean an obvious single, you don't refuse that in a situation where you are lagging behind the balls remaining. Off topic, but I don't know why Dhoni didn't attempt a second run in the penultimate ball of the match against England. Taking only a single meant that the last ball was inconsequential. There could easily have been a fumble giving Pathan another shot on the last ball to level the scores. Even yesterday, there was an easy single when Harbhajan missed a full toss off Botha which would have also brought Yuvraj on strike but Dhoni refused from square leg. Yuvraj ran halfway down and back and made it comfortably. Link to comment
veer
the strange thing that I found on England's match was that Dhoni tried his helicopter shot only on last ball when 9 was required and went to four.. Dhoni needs god damn break... Link to comment

riya
Yuvi is so chubby now :| There was a run araam sey when Dhoni got out ! .. Anyway this aint the first time someones got run out, so Veer no BIG deal ! Yes Yuvi is overweight and it reflected in his poor fielding.yes he was in great form with the bat and saved us many times. But that shouldn't be an excuse for poor fielding especially in this format.
