DomainK
I remember when India won the T20 WC in 07 quite a few fans from a particular country (not surprisingly) claimed that it's not a world cup and Indian were not world champions. I wonder if they still hold the same view. Link to comment

Ram
We should just let go off this. Doesn’t matter what the cup is called, but the truth is, Pakistan are the world champions in T20. Now, how much that title counts for, we cannot say, but at least till another teams wins it from them, its theirs to keep. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Yup they have gloating rights just like we had for 2 long years. But to be honest that title is rarely used because we rarely play T20s. I thnk we had played only 6 or 7 T20s since we won the last T20 till the current world cup. It will gain more significance when we start playing more T20 games. I don't think that is going to happen for a while. Link to comment
