rainy day Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Gul Asif Aamer Razzaq Afridi Ajmal I certainly hope they ignore razzaq ( unlikely to happen though ) he's a used up has been. He doesn't have the quality or fitness to play in ODIs or Test matches. Pakistan should look at other options.

He is very talented and all, but it takes more than just that to survive in Pakistani cricket. Remember Mohammad Zaid, their fastest bowler ever ? He hardly played 16 games before succumbing to a serious stress fracture. More recently, Sami, Sohail Tanvir, Asif, Rana, Akhtar et all have only flattered to deceive. They've all either withered away or fallen to drugs or gone the ICL route. Kamran Akmal who was touted to be a genius of a wickie & an awesome bat, is no more than an FTB now & a goal keeper behind the stumps.Add Taufeeq Umar, Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Yasir Hameed, Misbah and the list goes on. Pakistani cricket simply does not have the leadership to groom great players. Couple of losses is all it takes to form factions within the team. Everybody starts blaming everybody else. And sooner than you realize the supposed stalwarts will be fighting for their spot in the team. Well & truly a circus!

I'm sorry i don't see hwat it is abt him that rings your bell? Trundles in at 82-84 mph all day. Hasn't got much to show in the wickets column either..admit it you got excited coz the guy closked 90+ mph once in T-20s..even there he wasn't particularly impressive if it wasn't for his age (we all know how credible that particular stat is).
