Sachinism
Sorry no offence to the indian fans here' date=' but these rating's have no meaning.. im a pakistan fan and younus khan is rated number 1 in the test ranking's but i admit he is nowhere near the best batsman at test.[/quote'] Dhoni has topped the rankings for a long time now. You may not rate him as the best, because you barely notice his scores. But he's there consistently scoring runs in every game, maybe someone played a good cameo or someone made a bigger score and we forget about what he did. Link to comment

undisputed
who do u think r the best 2 ODI batsmen? players like, chris gayle, G smith, sehwag, deviliers, yousuf are better players, yousuf has been inactive but you will see in the odi series with sri lanka that he is one of the best in odi's.... dhoni is not even the best in the indian team i believe veeru and yuvi are better odi batsman. ali0786
Don't know about Dhoni, but Yuvraj definitely deserves his ranking. He's been playing very well for the past couple of years. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
dhoni is a good player but he is not the best player in the WORLD http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;spanmax1=31+Dec+2009;spanmin1=01+Jan+2008;spanval1=span;template=results;type=batting Runs scored by players in ODIs since Jan 2008. Dhoni is country miles ahead of every one interms of runs and average. 43 matches 1729 runs 66.50 avge 85 SR Mind you he is coming in at no. 6, or 7 lot of times. :yay: So for the time period here is my prescription for your heartburn. vipin
Its a salute to Dhoni's consistency in ODIs and to Yuvraj's big sixes :cantstop: Sachin would be there too of he plays ODIs consistently. So 4 in the top 10. Link to comment
