BERGKAMP Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Licking ass off opposition no matter how hostile they are towards you Dhoni > Ganguly
Sooda Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Dhoni arguably had a better team, even if the great batsmen were slightly less great than they would have been under Ganguly the emergence of Gambhir and Zaheer and world class cricketers was a huge factor. Not to mention generally better pace attack in the shapre of Santh, RPS and Munaf flaring up very briefly...Had that happened about 5 years earlier than it did Gangulys India would have been awesome...
adi B Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Why did we lose in NZ under Gangu Teli the aggrashive leader who made us tigershhhh abrad :hmmmm2: ur avatar pic says a lot for whom u are pitching :--D

Sid Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Chickening out of a test match(as a kaptaan): Gangu > Dhoni But still he was the man with guts.

Sid Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 You dont have to take off your shirt or jump on your players after a win to show your aggrshiveness. Some players dont show it but they are aggrashive you know. But hail Gangu ,he was very aggrashive. And also may I add , in being a panauti : Gangu>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dhoni.

jhakati Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 if dhoni had taken over the indian team in 2000 like ganguly did he would win nothing. dhoni was handed over a great team to him by ganguly and now he's turned it into lambs abroad.
CG Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 especially in bowling department' date=' but what I see the real difference has been conditions. This time conditions have been to hot to handle for Indian batsmen while in 2003 and 2007, most tracks were flat.[/quote'] Brisbane and melbourne had pace and bounce,Yes the tracks have been spicy but sydney was a great batting wicket.
BeautifulGame Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 if dhoni had taken over the indian team in 2000 like ganguly did he would win nothing. dhoni was handed over a great team to him by ganguly and now he's turned it into lambs abroad. If Ganguly was captain in our world cup final 2011 we would have choked again like we usually did under Ganguly. This argument can be used either way.
rkt.india Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Brisbane and melbourne had pace and bounce' date='Yes the tracks have been spicy but sydney was a great batting wicket.[/quote'] Sydeny was batting wicket from day 2, it has greenery and moisture first day and Perth was very different than what it was in 2008 and 2009. Melbourne was a slow track in 2007. Apart from that, this bowling attack bowled far better than 2003-2007, they have persistent, consistent, and hard to score. They have rarely bowled any bad deliveries.
