Whats the common thread between the song from Sooda and Desi??? :hmmm::hmmm::hmmm: It is the same set of people behind the scene. Jatin-Lalit has provided music to lyrics penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri. In fact this combination was also responsible for many other successes including Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar, Khiladi, Khamoshi, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa etc.

No way!!! Thats a random and obscure fact to know Lurker :headshake: I didnt like that song DC posted much tobh... the rest of the films youve listed have ace music. JL were very consistent for a good while in the mid to late 90's churned out some very good songs Khamoshi and JJWS are great soundtracks ...two all time faves of mine... M_MDTYG7I48 pXoPoeIwnRU

lol I know Sooda. Was too bit of a coincidence for me to overlook. :--D I do disagree about Yaara Dildaara, it was quite a rage for its times. I was personally besotted by its music, even today I do enjoy hearing from time to time.

^^ Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye one of the classic Hindi songs. Two of the stalwarts at play(apart from Mukesh the singer), Salil Chowdhary the musician bar none and the unheralded Yogesh who alongside Indeevar and Neeraj would probably go down as the person who wrote the most beautiful poems in Hindi cinema. very minimal usage of Urdu as is witnessed by "Kahin se nikal aayein janamon ke naate, ghani thi uljhan, bairi apna man, apna hi hoke sahe dard paraaye". Hats off. Thanks for reminding this gem.
