gaurav92
When he was hitting boundaries in between the gap Sir Richard Hadlee appreciatingly was giving him a clap When he started smashing him fours after fours after fours Boundaries were its destination and his bat was the source When wickets were tumbling one by one and India needed some support He also played the anchor role and for India he held the fort When India needed quick runs He even went for the blast He hammered the bowlers badly Runs came thick and fast When the pitch was dead turner or even if it offered swing He did not let the chips go down He was still the fabulous King When the captaincy was handed to him He never ever shook or refuesd But with his amazing tricks He made everyone much amused Fast and furious Twenty Twenty One Day International or Test He will will top in every format Just because hes the Best Undoubtedly the best batsman Whom Legends to applaud I and a billion cricket lovers consider him as cricket's GOD Even with the fame and hype His feathers never ever flied His love and spirit for the game Never seems to have died Yes there were many legends Gavaskar and Vengsarkar But nobody is like this Legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar HOWZATTTTT Link to comment

CSK Fan
Nice effort. here's mine The battlelines were drawn, the knight was in his armour The dragon huffed and puffed at him, Breathed smoke and fire And the peasants held their breathe, praying for the saviour He only stood a five- foot- four The enemies towered over him In his hand he held his trusty weapon Broad at base, sharp at brim Such a long way for victory, the atmospehere was grim The dragon prepared for his charge His croonies egging him on The knight stood still as a statue With steady gaze, sword withdrawn When the dragon ran in like lightening, the peasants thought he was gone The dragon sent forth a thunderbolt Hoping to conquer, But quicker than lightning was the knights sword The peasants were in rapture Taken aback goliath blinked, David was the victor Again and again the sword flashed The enemy was pushed back and back They could but stand and admire The relentless attack and the peasants brought the house down, not holding back The dragon was in his last breath Yet the knight slashed him hard But then tragedy struck A twist of fate, the victory marred In his dying throes, he caught the knight ungaurd Tears were shed for the knight Yet his job was done the soldiers that followed finished the dragon and his men The cries of victory, were heard in the garden of eden And still his songs are sung of The brave knight who conquered and enemies speak of him In hushed tones and whispers And generations will remember his swordplay, Sachin the victor In case anyone wonders, this is about the 2003 WC match agaisnt Pak with Sohaib being the dragon and Centurion Eden Link to comment
