damn ONGC seems to have most of the delhi/haryana players and none of its game would have cameras until it reaches semi finals. anywayz. i guess CricketNirvana would be showing these games since neo is broadcasting.
do you work in ONGC by any chance ?

Was in the mid-120's..not bad for a 17 year old left armer. Is very tall as well. But there is a lot of work that needs to be done on his technique..just not getting enough out of his run-up or his action.
Were you getting the speed? I couldn't see any speed mentioned, though I confess that I watched only first 5 overs. If they showed it after that, then you might be correct. I found him quite impressive and not as tall as you're mentioning. Anyway, I've tried to find out the reports of the four matches yesterday, in the corporate trophy: BANGALORE: Rain snaps BSNL’s brave corporate charge G Krishnan, Hindustan Times Bangalore, September 01, 2009 First Published: 23:50 IST(1/9/2009) Last Updated: 23:54 IST(1/9/2009) When Air India Red captain Yuvraj Singh won the toss and sent underdogs BSNL in, the feeling was that it was going to be an early finish in Group D's first league match of the Corporate Trophy at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Tuesday. No one gave BSNL a chance to put up a fight. They were, in fact, expected to fold up meekly to set up an early finish. But once Arindam Das and BBCC Mahapatra silenced the Air India new ball bowlers with their 70-run opening stand, Yuvraj's plans began to go haywire. Yuvraj himself dropped Mahapatra at slips when BSNL's total had not reached 50, adding to Air India's woes. The 27-year-old Bengal right-handed opening batsman, Das, posted his highest List A (limited-overs) score — 82 in 107 balls with nine fours, guiding BSNL to a challenging 258 for seven. The game, however, did finish early thanks to the rain with AI at 16 for one off 2.5 overs. Both teams took two points each. BSNL, with hardly any player recognisable beyond their respective states, were up against a side that had two current India internationals in Yuvraj and Suresh Raina as well as a host of others who were in the national team in the not-too-distant past like Dhawal Kulkarni and Robin Uthappa. The opponents' reputation did not bother BSNL, though. Mahapatra was the more aggressive, taking a T20 approach, while Das was content at playing the more traditional manner, securing his end tightly till the 39th over, when in trying to force the pace in the batting PowerPlay, he was caught at covers. The BSNL batsmen took a special liking to left-arm spinner Ankit Chavan, who bowled short, something that was his bane when he played a couple of matches for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy last season. Chavan went for 49 runs in his five overs. Disaster struck Air India in their run chase when Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Naman Ojha fell for a first-ball duck. The onus was on Uthappa and Raina to bail the Reds out when a heavy downpour forced everyone indoors. Even though it poured heavily for about 15 minutes, it took the groundstaff three-quarters of an hour to remove the water off the covers, with three Super-Soppers jumping into action. However, just when play was about to resume, another shower ensured that there was no further action. With technology advancing in leaps and bounds, and money not an issue with the BCCI, there could perhaps be a system where a match can resume immediately after the rain stops. This would not only ensure spectator interest and but also ensure more cricket. DHARAMSALA Gavaskar leads Tata onslaught Anam Arsalan, Hindustan Times Dharamsala, September 02, 2009 First Published: 00:13 IST(2/9/2009) Last Updated: 00:16 IST(2/9/2009) Debasish Mohanty, leading All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board, chose to field in conditions that were conducive for bowling. The former India seamer's decision seemed to be the right one with rain threatening to disrupt the match at any stage. And his move would have paid off had it not been for Tata's Rohan Gavaskar, who put an impressive 93 on board and changed the game. His innings spurred Tata SC on to 241/8. Still, AIPSSPB bowlers did get some early advantage, removing the openers early on in the 36-over rain-truncated match that eventually extended well beyond the stipulated cut-off time. Sahil Kukreja fell to one from Mohanty that left the batsman, going to the keeper via the outside edge. Ishank Jaggi followed, bowled by medium-pacer Ashish W Zaidi and the scoreboard read a dismal 10 for 2 in four overs. But, that was it. As conditions improved, with the pitch and outfield drying, the batsmen started to showcase their prowess. Nishit Shetty and Gavaskar went about their task of resurrecting the innings and did so successfully. The duo added 69 for the third wicket before Shetty was run out in the 17 over. Gavaskar, keen on making the most of this opportunity, stayed on, predominantly scoring in ones and twos. He was further assisted by a dropped catch in the eighth over. Gradually, he upped the tempo and started hitting the odd boundary. Later, he and skipper Ajit Agarkar started to put pressure on the opposition fielders. From 114 for 4 the duo pushed the score to 144 for 5 before Gavaskar fell, caught at midwicket off Yogesh Dicholkar. Gavaskar's impressive 93 included seven fours and three sixes. But the end was far from near for skipper Agarkar was still at the crease and a flurry of strokes from his bat ensured that the Tata SC team reached an impressive 241/8 in their stipulated 36 overs. VISHAKHAPATNAM MRF get in groove with win over BPCL Bivabasu Kumar, Hindustan Times Visakhapatnam, September 02, 2009 First Published: 00:08 IST(2/9/2009) Last Updated: 00:12 IST(2/9/2009) Bowlers dominated a rain-marred Group ‘B’ encounter as MRF beat BPCL by 12 runs in the VJD method here on Tuesday. The MRF pace trio of Prashant Chandran, Vikram Dahiya and PK Dharma splintered the BPCL top-order, sharing six wickets in 28.3 overs. Chasing a revised target of 185 in 46 overs, BPCL were 120 for 6 when rain stopped play for the second time. They fell short by 12 runs needing 132 in 28.3 overs. Chandran (2 for 22) and Dahiya (3 for 22) were the wreckers in chief, as the former removed Abhishek Nayar just four balls into the BPCL innings. The Mumbai all-rounder announced his arrival with a cracking straight drive for four, but he sliced the very next delivery onto his stumps. Dahiya complemented his new ball partner and picked up Uday Kaul's wicket leaving BPCL reeling at 30 for 2 in six overs. The Punjab wicketkeeper batsman misdirected an attempted steer through gully to Thalaivan Sargunam at first slip. Tamil Nadu seamer PK Dharma, who joined the attack in the ninth over, removed Onkar Khanvilkar for 21 forcing an edge to keeper A Arif. And the lone Indian IPL centurion Manish Pandey's three-minute survival earned him just one run before perishing at mid-off off Chandran. Though Sairaj Bahutule (5 not out) and Anup Revendkar (35 not out) tried a revival of sorts, rain came down a second time, ending the game. Earlier MRF managed 191 thanks to 53 from Gnaneshwara Rao. MOHALI Washout in Mohali Mohali, September 01,2009 The match between Air India Blue and ITC was rescheduled to September 4 after rain washed out Tuesday's game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope we unearth few seamers!!
