Sachinism
Bopara said he had a 45 min chat with Sachin and it made a massive difference to his thinking and approach. Then he hammered the WIndies, then shat his pants vs aus :( Maybe he is due for another chat Link to comment
Mamu
You can talk to whoever you want to, unltimately what counts is how talented you are and your abilities. Rest is all secondary. Link to comment
ludhianvi
Perhaps he's gone to meet his idol and get an IPL contract. All this talk about having a chat with someone like Tendulkar for 30 minutes and all of a sudden it changes your game is lame. Its all about what to say to the media and just repeat the cliched replies. No one can change your batting in 30 minutes talk and that includes Tendulkar. Its not like in today's era with all the videos and coaching, that one doesnt know the basics. Perhaps a pointer here and there but that's about it. No one can help you but YOURSELF. Link to comment
The Outsider
This is typical ToI garbage. Hughes is in Nagpur to work with his former coach who has a job there. He had scheduled to go there irrespective of his Ashes performance and is just happening to meet Tendulkar for an hour or so on his way back. Link to comment

If scoring runs at international level was that easy then everybody would arranged sessions with greats like Sachin, Inzamam & Lara and overcome their problems. Link to comment

Maybe there is something he can help Hughes with mentally, a certain couple of tricks that only a veteran knows. Or maybe there's a hitch in his backlift....slight errors that might have crept into his batting. Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
ShermanAve should write for TOI. Both produce the same kind of semi-illiterate, completely ignorant garbage, except with very different viewpoints. Link to comment

Mamu
so anybody who doesnt agree with indian fans is a troll.:hatsoff: Go around the world and find out -- which other country -- and you may NOT include India in this list and -- type Sachin, Lara and Inzy in the same line for anything -- and see how you get ridiculed. Problem with you Pakis is -- you are so India obsessed -- you like to make it sound like ONLY Indians -- ridicule you guys -- why is that you fail to realize -- that what we state (I state) is a broadly held view in almost 90% of the world and just NOT India. Got it ? May be not -- never mind.! Link to comment
