Its not to say that every movie made in the south is a masterpiece, far from it. Like other Indian movies, most of them are utter crap, but every now and then, South Indian cinema can produce a gem. Not only are the South Indian movie scripts better, the production quality, the technicians, the use of technolgy is also far higher. Even in Bollywood, the top technicians, whether they're cameramen, sound engineers or arts directors, are all South Indians.
