Remember that series in 2008 (finals 2-0!). Now without Gilly, Haydos, it will be like the drubbing you got in the test series last yeat (2-0 tests in a 4-test series!). I can't wait!

it means we need to beat both aussies and SA in chamions trophy while not losing to any other team... that is the only way we can remain steady at top for sometime.
Not really - it's more complicated, wins against higher ranked sides and in major tournaments count for more.

Wow so quickly that changed. Thought it was going to be a while before we got back to #1. Although Poms do have a fairly weak one day side at the moment, we still managed to win all games which it's still not easy to do, so am happy with that. I still think that South Africa are the best team though. Followed by India and then us. But I'm liking what we are doing at the moment.

My views r exactly the same.SA r the best,followed by Ind n Aus. hope poms beat Aus tomorrow to make that the official rankings:--D

dont think so... I think oz are way better than RSA and india for sure man... Look at their present form!!! They have rearranged a good team now.... And We want 7-0 :winky:

You are so bias man just cause they are your team doesn't mean you have to think that. fair enough if you genuinely do, but i don't see how. Sure, we have won the past 3 world cups but last series against SA we got smashed, India and SA would both beat England comfortably as well. Having said this Australia are more then capable of beating SA and India. But in terms of consistency, SA and India are better, for now.

that if u r Indian,u shouldnt be mocking India slipping at 3.u may like a certain player but not mock ur own country n celebrate other's ahievements in short U R AN AUSSIE

Well thats my whole point... Am not undermining RSA or India.... Especially india who can be very lethal.. but i do think that the aussie team has regrouped into a much tougher one than which toured RSA. One more thing is that Indians are still yet to learn how to handle pressure in major tournaments!!!

I didnt mock india there dumbo.. As much as I want them to be the No 1 I also have great respect for other great teams unlike u.... Sorry but am not an Aussie and I dont bother the tiniest bit to prove that to u
