Yes lot of film stars turned politicians were attractive but they never had that stately look that Gandhis had. The Argentinian President also has that classy look about her. Lurker Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Indira Gandhi was quite pretty. Most of us have seen her pictures of later years which obviously are not going to make her look great. Plus with her cold steel like persona portrayed there is an element of warmth missing. Any account of Nehru in his youth portrays him as a handsome smart gentleman. Again dont make your judgement based on pictures of him when he was in 50s, any worthwhile read would give an impression that the man was definitely a looker.
