DomainK Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 So, how many times you wished while researching a subject that you could find beyond what is popular? May be an obscure study report on the subject that can be actually more enlightening than what wikipedia or the obvious top sites have to offer? Here is a search engine that produces search results eliminating the top 1 million popular websites. The results can be brilliant if you are researching a topic. http://millionshort.com/
ViruRulez Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 i LOVE the onion news network ! especially their horoscope section :--D also, the American Voices, where they pretend to take opinions from different people, but it's always the same 3 people but with new names and professions :D Yes. Onion is one of the best fake news outlets out there. But then Fox and most other mainstream media are also catching up well with them. We have India TV and a few other news channels here in India which will even put Onion news to shame in terms of fake news generation. :giggle:

Square Drive Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 This is not a good thread at all. :headshake: It's called information overwhelming. When it comes to finding information, first think what actually you need, then just google it (of course you have to learn how to use google effectively). That's the only thing you need to do. Saving information, websites beforehand by thinking that they'll be useful in the future is a time wasting trait. Unless of course people post only the really really interesting (kind of rare to find) websites here. :P But OP for the 1st link. :secret:
