36 hrs .. BTW my personal best for sleeping without any interruption is for little over 19 hrs :yay: Sree, u need to speak with your doc about this. Depression can cause this and since u dont sleep u feel even worse. Even when u sleep u have dreams/nightmares which again means that its not sound sleep. Talk to your doc .. & yes try and excersise cuz if ur body is tired then it'll be easier to sleep.. also take a shower .. warm glass of milk and try ... I used to have TV on in my room to avoid getting lost in thoughts , mostly I slept with TV on ... Try these things

About 40 hours but the sleep after that OMG amazing. I also went through an partially-insomniac period, I used to get to sleep at about 5-6 every day and would have to wake up by 8. Went weeks like this

I went through a period of about 2 weeks where I only got 2-3 hours sleep a night due to work and stuff. NOT GOOD. Couldn't concentrate on anything and was b!tchy as hell. When I finally had time to crash I slept for almost 24 hours straight. Felt disoriented and not at all rested when I woke up.

Woke up Saturday morning. Slept on Monday morning. A little over 48 hours. Had to submit two heavy duty assignments. Played some cricket in between as well.

I will tell you guys what I have done and none of you could ever have done as far as sleep is concerned. One night I went to bed at 8. Woke up after 8 in the morning, had some breakfast and went back to sleep at a little past 9. Woke up at 1, watched tv on bed and fell asleep to wake up again at 9 in the night. Had some more food and went back to sleep. Woke up at around 3 in the morning. Beat that.

Really pushing the body to the limits but one way or another, I have to get this done, 2 A.M. and I am still at uni. Lets see how long I can push this.

I think somewhere around 30-34 hours. Had to juggle between preparing thesis presentation along with the working prototype and giving some finishing touches to a design project.

I have gone about three straight days without sleep for my CA exams plus I have slept around 10 hrs in a whole week due to a very big audit. I have done this kind of no sleep lot of work pattern quite a few times. It starts hruting after the third day with no sleep.

I always had the habit of sleeping, resting and relaxing immediately before the exam. I always believed that staying awake the night before the exam is the stupidest thing a student can do. You need to have relaxed and rested, not over worked and nervous.
