davidcooper
india might be all out today, but assuming we do not get all out when should india declare or at what score should we declare hope dhoni does not let the 1st test affect his decision, the SL batting will not score 700 in every test and especially not on the 3rd and 4th days on this pitch i feel india should bat until 1 hour before end of day, we should reach 650-700 comfortably by then and let the SL batsmen bat out the last hour Link to comment
Shane
One hour before the close of play, they should score around 700 by then. Link to comment

Jersey #10
Score 1000+ knowing that this highway is not going to produce a non-draw result play for records :yay: Link to comment
punjabi_khota
already 500 up and still 70 overs to go today. We can score ~200 in about 45 overs today and leave ~20 overs for the ravans to play today... Link to comment

nballa
you don't need a sorcerer's stone to tell this game will be a draw, they should just play on and pile up as many records as they can and then blame the curator after the final ball has been bowled. isn't that what always happens? If you are watching the match right now, you can see that even murali is not able to spin the ball on this track. every thing is going straight on to the bat after bouncing/pitching. and no we dont blame the curator after the final ball, we start to blame him after first 10 overs... paki match is rained out and that's what brought you here...innit? Laaloo
59 overs left in the day. Bat 45 more overs for about 200 runs more and put Sri lanka in Link to comment
bunny
Once they are past 600, they should declare if they arent able to score 5-6 an over. In essence they shouldnt declare until they lose all the wickets, and the instructions should be to take the match as an ODI and not a test. Link to comment
