When Should India Declare??

india might be all out today, but assuming we do not get all out when should india declare or at what score should we declare hope dhoni does not let the 1st test affect his decision, the SL batting will not score 700 in every test and especially not on the 3rd and 4th days on this pitch i feel india should bat until 1 hour before end of day, we should reach 650-700 comfortably by then and let the SL batsmen bat out the last hour

Once they are past 600, they should declare if they arent able to score 5-6 an over. In essence they shouldnt declare until they lose all the wickets, and the instructions should be to take the match as an ODI and not a test.
