Disgusting pitch at Adelaide this year. 482/5 in 87 overs vs Steyn and Morkel? Granted that SA didn't have an effective 3rd and 4th seamer as Philander was out, Kallis got injured after just 3 overs and Tahir was just shocking. Even Steyn wasn't 100% fit and was out for sometime due to tight hamstring. Still 482 runs? No wonder Clarke's home and away average have so much disparity!

India won a test match after some 24 odd years in Australia in Adelaide. There was a combined first innings score of 1000+ runs, never heard any complaints of the flatness of the pitch than!
