King Tendulkar
If we did a pitch like this everyone would be jumping up and down in protest. Awful pitch. Link to comment
gloryof83
Also shocking crowds for a supposed battle for number 1. Link to comment
SLICKR392
Who are we to complain about flat tracks? We got pwned on a flat track ourselves. Link to comment
Robelinda
even if this is a draw, its been a long time since a draw in a test match in this country, at least 2 years. And this match would very much have been a result had it not rained for a whole day. Link to comment
rkt.india
I dont think it was a real flat track. It would have had a result but for rain. Pattinson and Morkel were the two most impressive bowlers. Link to comment
Cabinet96
If only they'd prepared such flat pitches when Kohli was over there...:( Link to comment
Trichromatic
If only they'd prepared such flat pitches when Kohli was over there...:( Pitch was flat when Indian team played there. Link to comment
SLICKR392
If only they'd prepared such flat pitches when Kohli was over there...:( They did where we got 400 something and still lost. Link to comment
rkt.india
Pitch was flat when Indian team played there. MCG and Perth were not flat. SCG was not flat first day. Adelaide is always flat. Link to comment
psrb4u
That is very rude.:cantstop: Link to comment
Chandan
Disgusting pitch at Adelaide this year. 482/5 in 87 overs vs Steyn and Morkel? Granted that SA didn't have an effective 3rd and 4th seamer as Philander was out, Kallis got injured after just 3 overs and Tahir was just shocking. Even Steyn wasn't 100% fit and was out for sometime due to tight hamstring. Still 482 runs? No wonder Clarke's home and away average have so much disparity! Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
India won a test match after some 24 odd years in Australia in Adelaide. There was a combined first innings score of 1000+ runs, never heard any complaints of the flatness of the pitch than! Link to comment
Number
Flat Pitch + Poor bowling + Bad captaincy + Imran tahir + Good batting = 482. Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
Btw, I was at the ground today and their bowling attack had as much bite as a toothless tiger. Link to comment
Bradman99
Btw' date=' I was at the ground today and their bowling attack had as much bite as a toothless tiger.[/quote'] Exactly, can't just blame it all on the pitch. They bowled RUBBISH and we batted well. We were 3/55 at one stage after all! I guarentee if SA batted they wouldn't of scored so quickly. Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
3/55 to 5/482, those complaining about the pitch can't get over the fact that South African bowling conceded another 450 runs before they got another two wickets Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
Yea Brahman99, might as well go tomorrow and watch the South Africans getting thumped some more. Link to comment
