India Bowling - What we need

Zaheer Khan: He's been good. Possible area of improvement - less leg side freebies? Sreesanth: Needs to consistently bowl good line / length on close to off, better slower ball and desperately needs a surprise bouncer at decent pace. Ishant Sharma: Don't know. It seems like he's bowling test match bowling in one-dayers. Trying to get too much out of the wicket each ball. I haven't seen a lot of the games recently but he's not as bad a bowler as his numbers show. Harbhajan: Too much reliance on the top spinner. Can he be an off-spinner who gets turn and dip when needed and can bowl flat when needed. It seems like even on slow pitches, he has low revs on the ball compared to for e.g., Ravindra Jadeja or Sehwag who look more effective. Maybe develop some finger spinner skills? He seems to have levelled off. Fifth bowler - Jadeja, Yuvraj, Sehwag - pretty much do what's asked of them. Not sure if there's much to do here. If #1-4 can happen, can India be a better bowling outfit? If not - what else do we need? We're not getting another Srinath / Kapil soon.

jfgp_1 - thats the point though. It seems what we have right now is the best talent available in the country. Nothing promising from IPL either. So - how can this attack be better.

Sreesanth is the one who impressed me most. He got all the variations required to do well at Test level. Perfect seam position. Rest of them are just okay. Zak is a good bowler. Nothing great. But when the conditions suit Zak, RP even Irfan can all be lethal.
