I was actually loving the bouncy conditions yesterday until the uneven bounce began to show. Let's just have a rank turner or a bouncy spongy track. Enough of batsmen pampering. Let's have some broken bones already.

He described the uneven sprinkling of grass on the pitch as a "hair transplant" with bald patches. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Times Now has rightly suggested that The Delhi board is SUPER CORRUPT and a bunch of sh*t.

This is what Mahela Jayawardena said about the Kotla wicket- http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/content/current/story/441433.html There is no denying that the wicket was ridiculous but a stark contrast lies in the way teams respond. Sri Lanka immediately made its stance clear in no uncertain terms and played a pro-active role in ensuring that the match is stalled. If India were touring another country, we would have chosen to give respect to the curator, the local board, the opposing team and the fans by carrying on despite the dangerous nature of the pitch. Just another way to look at the whole thing. What if India were in Sri Lanka's shoes? Would we have gone of the field in protest? I don't think we would. What do you think?

gaurav92 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Kotla pitch had very unreal bounce, it was a two paced track with ball dying as low as 6 inches off the turf and the odd ball flying off and taking off the pitch off a length at serious pace.It would have been nasty to play in that wicket, i doubt whether they would ve even played on that turf even thought they were 150-0 in 15 overs and the series was levelled at 2-2.IMO that pitch was an unbelievable track not fit to be played on.You cant play a game at the expense of a cricketers career(Batsman's injury can be nasty). So 100% YES India wou;ld have done the same.
