Abdv struggled too....akmal took on steyn.....heartwarming bravery....umar and masquood would have finished it in 40 overs....scoreboard pressure needs to be considered and also tough on him as he was tired keeping....there is only so much a 20 + yr old can do.....ask kohli to keep and bat at 6 :beee:

going by cricinfo's description on how he fell today, he was caught at third man in 46th over. In todays age with shi-tty rule like only 4 outside circle; SA had a third man for akmal basically show SA expected him to mis-hit.

He didn't really display any technique there.HE just cross batted and slashed as hard as he could and connected them. Wasn't really an innings that was properly built by a top order batsman.

Absolutely no improvement. When you first saw him he was raw and you expected him to improve but absolutly nothing from him. I also feel sorry for him he isnt a full time keeper yet asked to keep in this series.
