Small personal story, I was really into 80s New wave a while back was getting stuff from bands like Oingo Boingo, Stone Roses when someone asked me "Are these for your older sister ?" "No, no they're for me." Whatever. Since we're doing the 80s I'd like to add the only New Order song which I like, their ode to former frontman Ian Curtis who wasn't really a songwriter but more like a poet. Seriously Joy Division is definitley the darkest band of ALL TIME. Way more dark than Cobain himself could've possibly dreamed of being.
